Lodi Wine Cellars opened its doors in May of 2009 in the Old Lodi Hotel building as a venue for Bill and Mike Stokes to showcase their Benson Ferry wines. They were soon joined by Vicarmont Vineyards and Winery (Vic and Carrie Mettler), McCay Cellars (Mike and Linda McCay) and Heritage Oak Winery (Tom and Carmela Hoffman) and offer a selection of wines sure to please any palette.

Benson Ferry Vineyards

In 2001, Brothers Bill and Mike Stokes established Benson Ferry Vineyards as a label to showcase premium wines produced from their Lodi and Sierra Nevada vineyards, as well as from other select California vineyards. The Stokes Brothers represent a family tradition of growing great wine grapes three generations in the making.  Their grandfather, Bill Stokes, Sr. planted his first 45 acres of Zinfandel near Lodi in 1954, firmly establishing a tradition that has been passed down to Bill and Mike. Through the years, the Stokes family has purchased, as well as developed new vineyard properties encompassing more than 4,000 acres of cutting edge grape varieties utilizing advanced cultivation techniques. As a result of its quality orientation, the Stokes also supply fruit to several of California's best-known wineries.

Vicarmont Vineyards and Winery

Growing premium grapes for over 90 years has been the Mettler Family passion. Our Lodi Appellation soils and weather allow the grapes to mature into bright and zesty berries.  Vicarmont has many elegant and flavorful wines. Careful aging in French and American oak barrels brings a soft texture along with rich fruit characteristics. Enjoy!

McCay Cellars

With great consideration our wines are handcrafted from start to finish. From the field to the bottle, we monitor every detail to make sure our wines are of the finest quality. In our opinion, Lodi has California’s best climate for producing wine grapes. The Mokelumne Rivers’s sandy loam soil, along with the Delta’s cool breezes provides the perfect and unique environment for growing the best wine grapes in the world. McCay Cellars produces small case lots, typically less than two hundred cases per lot all in French Oak barrels. McCay Cellars is a small boutique family owned winery that takes great pride in producing California’s best wines.

Heritage Oak Winery

Heritage Oak owners, Tom and Carmela Hoffman, are proud of their ancestry and their ties to a piece of land that has been in Tom's family for five generations. This pride is seen in the quality of the grapes that are harvested from their vineyards each fall and the rich, smooth textured wines that are made from them. Heritage Oak Winery stands on land that has been worked and lived upon by Tom Hoffman's family for nearly 150 years.
